Family Management
About Family Management
As the subscriber or an adult member, you can now request access to the prescription data of any member on your shared policy. This data can help you better manage your family's prescriptions. To gain access, you must request access and the member* must accept your request.
*If the member is under the age of 18, the subscriber must accept the request.
What data can I access?
Once the member provides consent, you will be able to view their current and past medicines. You will also be able to see their costs so you can better track claims data for your family.
Whose prescription data can I get access to?
You can request access to the prescription data of anyone on your shared policy (one consent request is required per family member).
Note: Consent applies to MyPrime only, and not to any other plan, pharmacy site or app.
On the Member Information page of MyPrime.com, you can:
- Request access - Submit a Consent Request.
- If you are the subscriber, you will be able to see a list of all members on your account and request access using that list.
- Not the subscriber? You will need to know details for the member, including the member's name, date of birth, gender and email address.
If the member is an adult, they will receive the request and may grant you access. If the member is under the age of 18, the subscriber will receive the request and may grant you access.
- Check the status - You can view the status of your request.
- Check consent length - Once consent is granted, you will have access for one year. You must renew it each year.
- Remove access - A family member can click on Revoke Consent to remove access.
When will changes go into effect?
Once consent is granted or removed, changes occur at once.
